Our mission is to cultivate a culture of giving so Montana communities can flourish.
The grant program provided by the Community Foundation of Northern Rosebud County encompasses a wide range of causes, aiming to support projects that directly benefit the local population and address important community needs. Grants are awarded across several program areas:
The evaluation of applications is competitive, with criteria focusing on the project's potential for long-term asset building, sustainability, significant community support, and demonstrable community impact. A notable part of their granting program, the Signature Community Impact Grant, introduced in 2019, offers up to $10,000 for projects showing extensive community support and partnerships. Applications are assessed by the CFNRC Granting Committee and approved by the Montana Community Foundation, emphasizing the need for demonstrating partnerships and community support due to the competitive nature of their grants. Applicants are also required to provide high-quality digital images of their project to showcase progress and outcomes.
