The NATA Foundation, as the philanthropic arm of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, aims to advance the athletic training profession through research and education. It is committed to benefiting athletic trainers and associated companies, as well as the physically active community, by fostering collaboration among health care professionals for preventative services, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitation.
The NATA Foundation offers financial support to research initiatives aimed at propelling growth within the athletic training profession through its Research Grant Programs. Specific programs under this umbrella include the Professional Grants Program and the New Investigator Grant, both designed to fund exceptional research projects. The New Investigator Grant, in particular, provides up to $20,000 in funding over a three-year period to support innovative research efforts.
