Specifically, the grant backs initiatives that integrate geography into the social studies curriculum. Award recipients receive a $2,500 grant, a commemorative award, an opportunity to present their work at the NCSS Annual Conference or through a webinar/webcast, and up to $800 in travel reimbursement for those presenting their work at the conference.
