    Overview

    The Our Town program by the National Endowment for the Arts focuses on creative placemaking by offering project-based funding. It aims to integrate arts, culture, and design into community strengthening efforts for long-term benefits. Projects under this grant illustrate the critical role of arts, culture, and design in local community development strategies, emphasizing equity and systemic change that reflects community needs and opportunities. Applications must come from a partnership including a nonprofit organization and a local government or quasi-government entity. Funding ranges from $25,000 to $150,000, with required matching from the recipients. The grant supports projects starting from July 1, 2025, allowing up to two years for the grant period.
