The National Endowment for the Humanities serves and strengthens our nation by supporting high-quality projects and programs in the humanities and by making the humanities available to all Americans.
The program aims to support individual authors in their endeavors to research, write, travel, and engage in other activities crucial to the creation and publication of well-researched nonfiction books in the humanities intended for a broad public audience.
