Overview

The FY2024 Sea Grant Contaminants of Emerging Concern grant program, administered by NOAA’s National Sea Grant Office (NSGO), is designed to support 1-5 projects addressing contaminants of emerging concern (CECs) in various shared geographies, biogeographies, or watersheds. Approximately $1,000,000 of federal funds are anticipated to be available, with individual projects able to request between $200,000 and $600,000 in federal funds for periods of up to three years. Applicants must provide a standard 50% non-federal match for Sea Grant projects. This program focuses on leveraging research to tackle environmental issues related to CECs, promoting partnerships and collaborative efforts to address the challenges facing coastal communities.
