    Type of Support

    Overview

The Emergency Mini Grant program is designed to support child care homes and centers by providing financial assistance for necessary licensure items. It offers up to $1,000 for Provisional year licenses and up to $2,000 for Operating (non-expiring) licenses. Eligibility requires applicants to be a currently licensed Child Care Home or Center, or in the licensing process with initial inspections conducted, in good standing, and have current Child Care Subsidy enrollment. The grant specifically aids in funding required items from inspections by Child Care Licensing, Fire Marshal, and/or Health Inspector. The primary goal is to help child care facilities meet licensing requirements, with the stipulation that funded providers must continue operating and maintain Child Care Subsidy enrollment for three consecutive years.
