The Foundation aims to be a catalyst that strengthens Nebraska ministries and churches, supporting innovative ideas that meet the needs of a diverse and rapidly changing society.
The Dean & Keitha Thomson Mission Grant is designed to support United Methodist-associated entities or individuals who require funding for mission work. This grant focuses on global health missions, which can include medical needs or disaster and recovery efforts, and is open to projects that are local, national, or international in scope. The mission work supported by the grant aims to be beneficial to the larger community and should be part of a long-term plan for growth and outreach. Grants are awarded annually through an endowment fund established by Dr. Dean and Mrs. Keitha Thomson and may be renewable up to three years within a five-year period, depending on funding availability and the mission work's quality and scope.
