The Women and Girls of Color Fund is committed to addressing the historic and persistent underinvestment in women and girls of color. Through their funding efforts, they aim to support projects led by and serving women and girls of color, recognizing their vital roles as thought leaders and problem-solvers in their communities. The Fund believes in the inseparability of gender equity from racial equity, promoting solutions that enhance racial justice and equity.
The Community Grant Program by the New Hampshire Women’s Foundation focuses on strategic and impactful efforts to address and dismantle systemic barriers faced by women and girls. It aims for long-term positive change, promoting empowerment, leadership, and challenging injustices. The program seeks projects that address the root causes of issues faced by women and girls, encourage their leadership and empowerment, and demonstrate collaboration among organizations dedicated to their advancement. It focuses on promoting economic security, supporting health, wellness, and safety, and enhancing leadership, education, and empowerment of women and girls. The foundation funds new or special projects, provides general operating support, and aids in organizational capacity building, with an overarching goal of impacting public policy to support full and equal participation of women and girls and encouraging philanthropy among them.
