Used Oil Collection Gift Grant Program

The Used Oil Collection Gift Grant Program is designed to encourage the establishment, improvement, and operation of used oil collection centers. These centers serve individuals who change their own oil, ensuring that the used oil is properly recycled at licensed facilities. Eligible entities include towns, cities, counties, solid waste districts, other government and nonprofit organizations focusing on waste management and recycling, and private businesses that are registered as motor vehicle inspection stations. The program offers grants up to $2,500 for individual centers, with centers serving two or more towns eligible for up to $5,000. These grants are gifted, not requiring matching funds from recipients.
