    Overview

The NYSAR3 College Council Grant Program, supported by the NYS Pollution Prevention Institute (NYSP2I), is designed as a competitive initiative that offers a limited number of awards to New York State Universities and colleges. Specifically, it provides two $5,000 awards to member institutions of the NYSAR3 College Council annually. These grants support campus projects that focus on source reduction, reuse, or recycling. Furthermore, the College Council program serves as a platform for college students, staff, and faculty to exchange information about common environmental challenges and best practices, particularly in the areas of recycling, waste prevention, and other related environmental issues.
