    Overview

The Nike Community Impact Fund (NCIF) aims to support local community organizations globally through an employee-led, neighborhood-focused approach. It emphasizes the following principles:

    • Financially aiding organizations in the communities where Nike employees live and work.
    • Utilizing a volunteer committee of Nike employees from various departments to assess and decide on grant applications.
    • Focusing on direct community engagement and insights in the grant selection process. Specifically, in the U.S., NCIF offers $50,000 in grants annually to organizations in East Los Angeles, Watts, South Chicago, Downtown Detroit, and New Orleans. These one-year grants are dedicated to programs that enable kids to reach their potential through sport, physical activity, and play.
