    Overview

The Nike Community Impact Fund (NCIF) operates with a unique, employee-led, neighborhood-focused approach. The fund aims to support local organizations that make play possible for all kids, fostering more active and inclusive communities. The broad goals of the grant program are to drive positive, lasting change and support community organizations that help kids unlock their potential through play, sport, and physical activity. Specifically, in the U.S., Nike collaborates with the Charities Aid Foundation of America to award $50,000 annually in grants to nonprofits in selected community store locations, including East Los Angeles, Watts, South Chicago, Downtown Detroit, and New Orleans. These one-year grants are dedicated to programs that encourage youth engagement in physical activities.
