Nike takes action to create a better world by investing in more active, inclusive communities, starting with the cities where they live, work and operate.
The NCIF seeks to support local organizations within targeted community areas where Nike employees are based. Guided by principles of employee involvement and local insight, this grant program enables a volunteer committee of Nike team members across various departments to assess and decide on grant allocations. Specifically, in the regions of Mid-South/Memphis (TN & MS), the NCIF offers $100,000 annually in grants to non-profits and schools within Shelby County (TN) and DeSoto and Marshall Counties (MS). These one-year grants are dedicated to local programs aiming to help kids realize their potential through play, sport, and physical activity.
