The Robeson County Community Foundation (RCCF) aims to build community assets through the creation of permanent endowments, grants, and leadership in Robeson County. Founded in 2005 and guided by a local volunteer advisory board, RCCF facilitates local philanthropy by making it accessible for individuals of any means to support local causes, either by opening an endowment for their favorite cause or contributing to an existing fund.
The Community Grantmaking Program funds a diverse range of purposes to address local needs across 67 counties within the foundation's statewide affiliate network. This includes funding for education, human services, basic needs, the arts, historical preservation, health, recreation, youth development, the environment, and animal welfare. The grant program is part of a broader effort to leverage philanthropy as a tool for community transformation and improvement.
