The mission of the North Dakota Game and Fish Department is to protect, conserve and enhance fish and wildlife populations and their habitat for sustained public consumptive and nonconsumptive use.
The Encouraging Tomorrow's Hunters Grant Program, aimed at organizations that conduct educational shooting and hunting activities, focuses on the recruitment, retention, and reactivation of hunters and shooters. Through facilitating positive experiences that develop hunting and shooting skills and build confidence, the program aspires to ensure lifelong engagement with North Dakota’s hunting and shooting traditions. Grants can go up to $3,000, with an average grant of $1,550, supporting approximately 40 clubs and organizations.
