Hubbard County Coalition of Lake Association Grant

The grant program includes broad goals of promoting environmental sustainability and cooperation among lake associations through the HC COLA Charitable Fund. Specific causes supported by the grant include:

• Research, studies, or projects on water quality, shoreland development, and aquatic invasive species (AIS) prevention.
• Development of guidelines for the preservation and sustainable use of rivers, lakes, and shorelands.
• Support for property acquisitions for sustainable public use, such as conservation easements.
• Establishment of educational and charitable funds for individual lake associations.
• Other charitable and educational activities that support HC COLA and associated lake associations.
