OTF: System Innovations Grant

System Innovations Grants are designed to support collaboratives in understanding, strategizing, and working collectively to enhance systems for youth, specifically prioritizing Indigenous and Black young people. These grants aim for a term length between a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 6 years, covering activities like groundwork involving planning and preparation for systems change, and implementation which involves executing research, theories of change, and plans. In the System Innovations grant stream, we invest in collaborative work that strengthens systems to:  

• Improve how young people navigate and experience services. 
• Reimagine more unique and equitable access to supports, resources and programs.  
• Involve youth in the creation of new processes and approaches to better meet their needs.  
• Reduce the impact of systemic barriers and oppression as a result of historical and current-day realities of Indigenous (First Nation, Métis and Inuit) and Black youth.
