    Overview

The Northwest Neighborhoods Parks & Recreation Fund grants are specifically designed to advance the development and renovation of parks and recreation facilities within the northwest section of Portland. With a priority for projects located within the boundaries of the Northwest District Association (NWDA), the Northwest Industrial Neighborhood Association (NINA), and the Hillside Neighborhood Association, the program encourages proposals that aim to improve the community's recreational areas. While there is flexibility in the amount requested, historical grants have varied from $3,500 to $35,000, indicating a commitment to a range of projects, from small-scale improvements to more significant renovations.
