    Overview

The Bark Beetle Mitigation Fund is designed to support family forestland owners in Oregon in efforts to prevent damage and restore areas affected by bark beetles. Recognizing that over 44 percent of land in Oregon is privately owned, the program offers financial incentives for landowners to manage their forest resources effectively. The grant aims to assist in the protection of landowner resources from threats like fire or insect and disease infestation and to increase both the monetary and environmental values of forested properties for the future.
