The Co-operative Research Programme aims to enhance scientific knowledge to shape future policy on the sustainable use of natural resources in food, agriculture, forests, and fisheries. It supports multidisciplinary work to meet diverse stakeholder demands and acknowledges the global interconnectedness of food production systems.
The CRP's Conference Sponsorship scheme funds conferences that align with its research priorities to inform policy-makers, the industry, and academia about current and upcoming research and scientific advancements in its focus areas. Up to 10 conferences may be sponsored or co-organized annually in member countries. The scheme prioritizes smaller, focused events but may support larger meetings if they include a specialized session relevant to the CRP's objectives.
