    Overview

The grant program aims to support charitable projects and programs that cater to critical social needs and address issues such as hunger, healthcare, and housing instability within Green Lake County. Funding priority will be given to programs and projects that:

    • Support individuals and families facing hardship by delivering essential resources—such as food assistance, temporary shelter, or financial aid—in ways that uphold dignity and build community connections.
    • Enhance access to preventive care, screenings, counseling, hygiene products, and other services that promote long-term health and well-being.
    • Ensure youth have access to necessities like food, clothing, school supplies, and safe, supportive environments, including before- and after-school care programs.
    • Equip individuals with tools to achieve stability and independence while strengthening the community’s ability to support its residents. This includes financial literacy training, job readiness programs, resource coordination, volunteer training, and community-led initiatives.
