The Foundation aims to build a sustainable resource of endowed funds to address the evolving charitable needs of the Parke County community. It focuses on aiding donors in creating endowments, managing donated funds with prudence, and distributing earnings to qualified charitable organizations.
The Community Grants Fund accepts applications from charitable organizations or community agencies in or serving Parke County, looking for funding to start or expand programs addressing community needs or projects aimed at building community capacity. The fund welcomes applications throughout the year. Grants are intended to support various community-enhancing fields such as agriculture, family support, fine arts/culture, health and human services, historic preservation, community development, religion, scholarship, education, youth development, and recreation.
