The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans aims to support New Americans—immigrants or children of immigrants—in pursuing graduate or professional school in the United States. The foundation fosters opportunities for these individuals to achieve significant contributions to society through education.
The grant program offers financial assistance and support to thirty New Americans each year who are pursuing graduate or professional degrees at accredited institutions in the U.S. It covers up to two years of study in any field and any advanced degree-granting program within the country. Eligible applicants must be 30 or younger, applying to or in the first two years of their graduate program, and able to commit to attending the annual Fall Conference in New York City, among other requirements. The fellowship aims to allow recipients to focus full-time on their studies by providing substantial financial support.
