The Tourism Accredited Zoos Program is designed to provide funding support to Pennsylvania zoos accredited by either the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) or the Zoological Association of America (ZAA). This grant program underlines the importance of enhancing zoo facilities, supporting new construction or renovations, and developing marketing, advertising, and public relations campaigns aimed at increasing attendance. Eligibility for this funding is limited to Pennsylvania zoos that have received certification from either AZA or ZAA.
