    This competitive grant program focuses on enhancing healthcare professionals' education to enable them to make informed decisions when diagnosing and managing patients with Metallo-β-Lactamase (MBL) producing bacterial infections. The grant aims to address and improve the early diagnosis of MBL-producing bacterial infections to enhance the management and treatment of affected patients. This includes: conducting needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and opportunities in diagnosis and testing, developing educational tools and resources to overcome information barriers, and creating educational programs that improve knowledge comprehension.
