The PhRMA Foundation's Faculty Starter Grant in Value Assessment-Health Outcomes Research focuses on supporting new faculty researchers in evaluating the delivery, efficacy, safety, and value of medicines and healthcare interventions. Emphasizing the need for research on real-world outcomes, clinical outcomes assessments, diverse and underserved populations, economic evaluations, and health equity, this grant aims to fund innovative projects that address the methodological aspects of healthcare value assessment. Eligible recipients are faculty members within the first five years of their independent careers at accredited U.S. universities, with each grant providing $100,000 for a year, intended to bolster the recipient's research capabilities while ensuring accountability and continued university affiliation.
