Summer Fund Grant

The Summer Fund grant program focuses on enhancing the capacity of summer camps and programs serving underserved youth by providing three main types of financial support:

1. General Operating Grants to assist smaller, newer nonprofits with day-to-day expenses such as staffing, field trips, transportation, and supplies.
2. Mental Health Grant Program aims to address the youth mental health crisis exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic by funding on-site clinical staff, mental health-focused training, and resources for staff well-being.
3. Homeless Campership Fund offers vouchers to subsidize camp fees for youth experiencing homelessness, supporting shelters and camps in connecting with or serving these high-need individuals. The grant also specifies funding limits, allowing first-year recipients to request up to $7,500 per site, with potential for additional funds through specific initiatives like the Mental Health Grant Program or the Homeless Campership Fund. Current grantees may request up to $40,000 per site in General Operating funds, subject to certain budgetary restrictions.
