The William G. Pomeroy Foundation is committed to supporting the celebration and preservation of community history, and working to improve the probability of finding appropriate donor matches or other life-saving treatments for blood cancer patients. The Foundation’s first initiative was to diversify the bone marrow donor registry so that anyone, from any ethnic background, can find a matched donor.
The William G. Pomeroy Foundation is proud to fund roadside historical markers that help celebrate local history, promote heritage tourism, and educate the public. We generally offer marker grants through two types of programs: Signature Programs, which we fully manage, and Partner Programs, developed in collaboration with other organizations.
