The Pueblo Day Nursery Children's Foundation is dedicated to benefiting the children of the City and County of Pueblo, Colorado. Originating in 1926 with the mission to provide childcare for children of working mothers and fatherless homes, the foundation has grown from serving six children to reaching full capacity at 126 children by 1976. The foundation’s rich history is rooted in community service and support, initially established by a national sorority of prominent local young women, evolving to today’s private grant-making organization.
The Pueblo Day Nursery Children's Foundation Grant aims to continue the foundation's long-standing goal of supporting children within the City and County of Pueblo through financial grants. The grant focuses on nurturing the well-being and development of children in the local community, in line with the foundation’s historic mission to provide needed childcare solutions for working parents and those without partners.
