Responsive Grant Programs- Midsize Grants

The Reser Family Foundation is dedicated to Al and Pat Reser's lasting commitment to support Oregon communities. This passion manifests through charitable grants to organizations working across the state on broad-based, innovative, and inclusive projects, with a focus on strengthening Oregonians.

    Type of Support

    Overview

The grant program from The Reser Family Foundation aims to improve and strengthen communities throughout Oregon by focusing on four main areas: Education, Health, The Arts, and Environment. Each area has specific funding priorities:

    • Education grants support programs that encourage student success, provide after-school enrichment, and support the basic needs of students with limited economic means.
    • Health grants aim to serve those affected by severe health diagnoses or life-altering events, emphasizing food insecurity, safe housing, and basic needs.
    • Arts grants focus on engaging youth and communities in the arts and increasing access to and enrichment of community arts programs.
    • Environment grants support the natural and built environment with a focus on projects that cultivate long-term resiliency and community engagement. The Foundation considers projects that promise measurable impacts, are aligned with its identified areas of giving, and in the case of capital fundraising, are already majority-funded. The Mid Size Grant Program targets requests from organizations with larger project budgets
