    Overview

The Food Pantry Assistance grant, in partnership between the Rockland Community Foundation and Inserra (Shoprite) Supermarkets, is designed to support food pantries in Rockland County by providing them with Shoprite Gift Cards. This initiative, now in its seventeenth year, matches donated funds dollar-for-dollar, culminating in a donation of $500 in gift cards to up to fourteen selected food pantries. The primary goal is to provide direct assistance to food pantries, enhancing their capability to serve the community, especially during the pivotal month of November.
