The Society for Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh (SACP) was organized 1942 to advance analytical chemistry through science education. Its sister society is the Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh (SSP). The SACP is dedicated to the education of their membership, of the community and of future scientists from kindergarten through college.
This program gives high school teachers an opportunity to submit proposals for the purchase of up to $600 worth of science equipment and supplies. Equipment is purchased by the SACP and shipped directly to the school. Up to five individual items can be provided. Multiple quantities of a single item (e.g. 10 thermometers) count as one individual item.
