The Women's Legacy Fund aims to support 501(c)(3) organizations in San Luis Obispo County, aiming to either strengthen existing programs or introduce new ones that focus on three primary areas: Girls Mental Health (including self-care, chronic sadness, addressing bullying and harassment, and internet safety), Women's Financial Stability (including financial literacy, economic independence, and support for income disparity), and Childcare (improving access for low-income families, expanded capacity, and professional development for educators). The fund offers a maximum grant of $20,000 per year up to a total of $40,000 for projects spanning two years, with the initial year focusing on planning and hiring, and the second year on implementation.
