The SC Ministry Foundation, a public grant-making organization, promotes the mission and ministry of the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati. Formed in 1996, it supports nonprofits where Sisters are involved and those addressing issues of concern to the Sisters of Charity.
The grant focuses on funding core programs, planning, new programs, or program expansion. Priority is given to nonprofits where Sisters of Charity serve in some capacity or whose missions align with that of the Sisters of Charity. Initial funding requests begin in January, with grants usually awarded by the end of June.
