Since inception in 2006, the Foundation has supported meaningful causes centered on human kindness and social justice. Partnering with organizations both large and small, we focus on enabling innovative programs, sparking new organizational collaboration and helping to build capacity.

The Segal Family Foundation seeks to fund innovative programs that address Human Kindness and Social Justice. We encourage collaboration among non-profits, funders, and entrepreneurs for the betterment of the community.

    • Tikkun Olam (repairing the world)

    • Kindness as a moral concept not as a geographical philosophy
  • Social Justice
    • Access (greater equality of access to goods and services)
    • Equity (overcoming unfairness caused by unequal access to economic resources and power)
    • Rights (equal effective legal, industrial and political rights)
    • Participation (expanded opportunities for real participation in the decisions which govern their lives).
