The foundation prioritizes family stability, child wellbeing, immigrant inclusion, housing, advocacy, civic engagement, leadership, and community infrastructure. Grants are offered to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, government entities, schools, or churches in good standing with the IRS, addressing the foundation's key values and causes like civil liberties, equality, reproductive justice, and the removal of barriers to services without imposing faith-based restrictions. Operating grants provide nonprofit organizations with flexible funding to cover day-to-day operational costs, enhancing their strategic and effective addressal of community issues.
