It highlights the importance of diverse knowledge and approaches in advancing scientific understanding, drawing inspiration from historical figures like Marie Curie and Louis Pasteur, who made significant cross-disciplinary contributions. The fellowship provides a year of salary support, a professional development allowance for the fellow, and a research fund for the mentor. It focuses on enabling today’s brightest minds to explore new fields with the help of suitable mentorship and an encouraging environment, with additional opportunities for further research funding after the fellowship year.
