To fund research and education to improve emergency medicine practice and patient care
The EMF/SAEMF Medical Student Research Grant aims to support the field of emergency medicine research, which encompasses a broad range of scientific investigation areas including basic science, clinical research, preventive medicine, epidemiology, cost containment, and research in emergency medicine teaching and education. With a maximum grant of $5,000, of which at least $2,500 must be used as a student stipend, the exact number of awards is determined annually by the EMF Board of Trustees.
