The mission of the Society for Developmental Biology (SDB) is to further the study of development in all organisms and at all levels, and to promote communication among students of development.
The SDB Education Grant aims to financially support educational programs that align with the Society for Developmental Biology's mission and its Professional Development and Education Committee's objectives. This initiative is particularly focused on funding educational activities that contribute to the understanding and advancement of developmental biology. The grant supports projects by evaluating their budget justification, participant number, objectives, and expected outcomes, offering up to $4,000 USD for approved projects. Funding for these grants partly comes from proceeds of the Developmental Biology journal, the official journal of the SDB.
