The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) Foundation aims to enhance the well-being of employees and the performance of organizations through the science and application of Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
The SIOP Foundation alternates annually between awarding the Irwin L. Goldstein Scholarship and the Benjamin Schneider Scholarship. These scholarships provide financial support to minority doctoral students in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Funded by the Macey Fund to honor Dr. Goldstein's and Dr. Schneider's contributions to making I-O psychology more inclusive, these scholarships aim to support minority doctoral candidates by subsidizing their dissertation research expenses, highlighting both academic achievement and the need for financial assistance in the field.
