The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) Foundation aims to enhance the well-being of employees and the performance of organizations through the science and application of Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
The Raymond A. Katzell Award in I-O Psychology aims to recognize a SIOP member who has significantly demonstrated to the public the value of I-O psychology work in addressing social issues. Specifically, it honors research that has made a tangible difference in people's lives. Eligible work should be research-based with clear applications, have a notable impact on society's well-being (e.g., improving work organizations, employee satisfaction, efficiency, or providing beneficial services to the public), and must be widely presented to the public. The selected recipient will be awarded a commemorative plaque and a $3,000 cash prize.
