The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) Foundation aims to enhance the well-being of employees and the performance of organizations through the science and application of Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
The grant program supports doctoral students in the field of industrial and organizational psychology by providing financial assistance for dissertation research. The Graduate Student Scholarship acknowledges scholarly achievements and aims to reduce the financial burden associated with dissertation work. Each academic program is limited to nominating one student annually, ensuring a selection process for the most deserving candidates. The program awards several scholarships, including the top-ranked Lee Hakel Graduate Student Scholarship for $3,500, the second-ranked Mary L. Tenopyr Scholarship for $3,000, and two additional $3,000 scholarships to support emerging scholars in the discipline.
