The Stem Cells Specialty Section Excellence in Research Awards, funded by Axion Biosystems and NeuCyte, are designed to support and honor outstanding research contributions by students and postdoctoral fellows in the field of stem cell research. The program aims to recognize the efforts of emerging scholars who are the first authors of their research abstracts, showcasing their work at an Annual Meeting. The awards are divided into two categories: Graduate Student and Postdoctoral categories, each offering a 1st Place and a 2nd Place monetary award along with a certificate of recognition. Specifically, the awards encourage detailed investigation and presentation in stem cell research, promoting academic and professional growth among students and fellows engaged in these studies.
