    Overview

The Hometown Grants program by T-Mobile aims to support small towns with funding for community projects every quarter, up to 25 towns. The grants focus on projects that revitalizes or repurposes historic structures, create community assets, or improve gathering spaces, aiming to bolster a sense of place and encourage further investment in the community. Specifically interested in shovel-ready projects that are physical builds or improvements to be completed within a year, they support projects that enhance local connections, including technology upgrades, outdoor spaces, the arts, and community centers. Eligible projects can range from converting old buildings into community spaces, enhancing outdoor parks or trails, to technology enhancements for public libraries. With grants up to $50k per town, the application cycle is quarterly, with applicants notified of their status within 30-60 days post the application period.
