The TTCF's Nature Fund and Martis Fund aim to support environmental conservation and education efforts. The Martis Fund, a collaboration between Martis Camp developers, MAP, and Sierra Watch, focuses on managing and restoring habitat and forest lands in Martis Valley and Eastern Placer County, promoting forest resiliency, healthy land, water, air, vibrant wildlife populations, accessible open space, and environmental education.
The Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation (TTCF) utilizes a streamlined granting process to make at least $300,000 in grants available through a consolidated cycle. It supports a wide range of interests, including animal welfare, arts and culture, community improvement, education, environment, conservation, recreation, health and human services, and youth development. Grant types include Program/Project for specific initiatives, Nature grants with additional eligibility for environmental programs, Capacity Building for organizational development, and Mission-Driven Grants for unrestricted funding. Applicants must demonstrate community benefit in their mission and programs.
