The TTCF's Nature Fund and Martis Fund aim to support environmental conservation and education efforts. The Martis Fund, a collaboration between Martis Camp developers, MAP, and Sierra Watch, focuses on managing and restoring habitat and forest lands in Martis Valley and Eastern Placer County, promoting forest resiliency, healthy land, water, air, vibrant wildlife populations, accessible open space, and environmental education.
TTCF's consolidated grant cycle is designed to streamline the application process for nonprofits, allowing them to more easily request support. It provides a holistic view of community needs and responses, facilitating the allocation of resources through a single Common Application for all TTCF funding sources, including the Queen of Hearts Women’s Fund. The Queen of Hearts Women’s Fund, supported by over 1,300 women who have raised more than $1.3 million since 2006, focuses on making a significant impact together. Annually, it awards $60,000 in grants, funded by the interest of the endowed $1.3 million. The grants support local nonprofits in four main areas: Health and Human Services, Education and Youth Development, Arts, Culture, and Community Benefit, and Environment, Recreation, and Animal Welfare. The funding aims to shelter neighbors, empower brighter futures, connect young people to potential, enhance regional vibrancy, and support the community's cultural and environmental needs.
