The TD Ready Challenge is an annual initiative designed to support organizations in North America that develop innovative, impactful, and measurable solutions addressing key societal challenges. The grant program is rooted in the TD Ready Commitment, focusing on four critical areas: Financial Security, Vibrant Planet, Connected Communities, and Better Health. Specifically, the 2023 Challenge seeks to award ten grants of $1 million each to projects that offer inventive solutions to affordable housing's systemic barriers. These projects should aim to increase access to affordable and stable housing for those most in need, such as racialized and Indigenous communities, seniors, families led by single women of color, newcomers, veterans, low-income communities, and people with health conditions or disabilities. The Challenge supports a range of solutions, including those addressing housing supply, construction costs, homeownership, financial education, and innovative loans and financing.
