These areas include aiding in the fight against human trafficking and offering support to its victims, providing support to immigrants and refugees, advancing social justice and equal opportunity through diverse strategies, and responding to Pope Francis’ call to care for the planet under the auspices of his encyclical Laudato Si’. The fund targets comprehensive services for human trafficking survivors, initiatives supporting the well-being of immigrants and refugees, activities promoting equal access to essential services and opportunities for marginalized communities, and efforts that address climate change, promote sustainable living, ecological education, spirituality, and encourage community engagement in environmental stewardship.
