The mission of the Durham Cerebral Palsy Foundation Fund, held at Triangle Community Foundation, is to provide assistance to North Carolina children living with cerebral palsy. Established in 1951, it supports the purchase of necessary equipment and services to enhance the lives of children affected by cerebral palsy.
The Sudden and Urgent Needs (SUN) Grant program is designed to offer immediate financial assistance of up to $2,000 to non-profit organizations within the Triangle area facing unforeseen, unbudgeted crises that threaten their ability to serve their communities or jeopardize their ongoing operations. This could include the need for essential equipment, technology, or resources that were unexpected; emergency repairs to building structures or mechanical systems; or other urgent needs that were not anticipated and for which no other funding is available. The SUN grants support efforts that meet critical community needs within the funding region.
